Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all during the first round. Aspen went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: Aspen won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized the techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She won her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. Her dominance continued and she won a much more convincing victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. She also received the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision, and the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
