Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English music producer and a singer. Jessie became famous early on for her distinctive style of music which incorporates soul vocals with hip-hop, pop, and electropop. Awards she received include the Critics' Choice Brit Award and the BBC's Sound of 2011 as well numerous nominations. Jessie began her professional career at the young age of 11when she got cast for the musical "Whistle Down the Wind' by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. The year 2002 was the time she was a part in"The Late Sleepers," a "National Youth Musical Theater" show "The late sleepers." Her debut album "Who You Are" was launched in February of 2011. She became famous that year. In the UK only it sold 105,000 units, and in the US it sold 34,000. The album was also ranked 2nd place on the Charts of UK Albums, and number eleven on the US Billboard 200.
